Welcome to the superb Sports Hall at Hiltingbury Recreation Ground. The facility opened its doors in July 2019 and has been growing in popularity very quickly ever since.
Conveniently located at the recreation ground off Hiltingbury Road, with good parking for cars and bicycles. It is also easy to walk to!
The Sports Hall is open 9am until 10pm Monday to Friday, 8am till 6pm on a Saturday and 8am till 9pm on a Sunday for those early risers.
Bookings for the sports hall can be made 24/7 via our online booking system - link below. Bookings can also be made by visiting the sports hall in person or contacting the friendly staff team (who will always be happy to show you around). The team is headed up by Geoff.

Sports
The facility is a 4-court sports hall with a semi-sprung floor. It is marked out for futsal, five-a-side football, badminton, netball, basketball (retractable baskets), volleyball and indoor tennis (Indoor tennis is only bookable through the sports hall office).
Other sports that are available include soft tennis, table tennis, short mat bowls and dodgeball etc.
On Mondays and Thursday mornings we run a 50+ Get Active session for the over-50s at £4 (inc VAT) for up to 3-hours of gentle activity from 0900 to 1200hrs. You can book online!
Don’t worry if you don’t have any equipment to play, we have racquets, balls, bowls and other essential items (such as netball gilets) available to hire and bookable online.
Weekends are off-peak and therefore make hiring the sports hall, for futsal or netball etc, parties very affordable.
Studios
The first floor has a suite of rooms available to hire for classes such as pilates, yoga, martial arts and dance. The main studio is large at 140m2 with air conditioning and a semi-sprung floor.
There is a second studio 51m2 in size with foam backed vinyl flooring and air conditioning.
We do have a third studio that is permanently used by Running Stronger , Hampshire's Strength and Running Specialists. For more information on their services contact them direct via the link above.
The first floor also has male and female toilets.

Facilities
The sports hall also boasts a reception area with adjoining staff office. There is a chilled water fountain to refill any water bottle along with a seating/waiting area.
An accessible change/toilet/shower is on this level.
Male and female changing rooms are on the upper ground floor along with locker storage.
Two team and two officials’ football change areas are also upstairs, complete with their own showers.
There are lifts for wheelchair users to access both the upper ground and the first floor.
We are doing our bit to be environmentally responsible. There is a part green (Sedum) roof as well as about 80 PV panels on the sports hall roof.
